Current Issues in Pain Management for the Primary Care Practitioner
Tufts University’s "Current Issues in Pain Management for the Primary Care Practitioner."
"Current Issues in Pain Management for the Primary Care Practitioner" are three one-hour interactive case-based modules designed specifically to assist the Primary Care Practitioner in the diagnosis and management of pain associated with common primary care presentations. It is a CE program sponsored by Tufts University School of Medicine and is offered free of charge to physicians, nurses and others.
Registration for the program is provided through the website at www.tuftspainmanagement.org.
There, registrants can choose the CD-ROM or Internet version of the program and learn more about the program, the editorial board, and how to get CE Credit. Email notifications will be sent out to all registrants as each of the three modules is mailed or posted online.
The modules are:
Module 1 - "Acute Pain: A Multi-Modal Management Approach" will be made available around mid-November.
Module 2 - "Arthritis & Musculoskeletal Pain: Keys to Diagnosis and Management" will be made available around mid-January 2004.
Module 3 - "Low Back Pain: Management Across a Spectrum of Presentations" will be made available around mid-March 2004.
