Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Unknown
We admire our ancestors who blazed the trails across the United States as they carved the way for us to follow. If they had not willingly walked on uncharted ground, we would not be living in the Midwest or the West Coast. They had questions that needed answers. Instead of waiting for someone to provide the answers, they went in search of them. Their need to know was much greater than their fear of the unknown.
Life today is filled with unknowns. There are many areas of our life that we are not sure of, we are uncertain which path to take. We have two options. One is to do nothing. Doing nothing involves no risk. The other choice is to take action, challenge the situation. Challenging the unknown involves risk. The end result might not be the one we desired. But, unless we begin to challenge our fears, brave the unknown, life will not change. Our daily routine will continue on the same path, day after day. There is no chance of mistakes if we do nothing, however, we can learn from our mistakes. We can use what we have learned to our benefit the next time we try. Isn’t it time that you begin to forge your own path in life rather than allowing old behaviors and beliefs to dictate how your life will be?
